Sorry guys but lately I really do have a lack of motivation to post updates / reviews on make up and skincare. Part of it being I just am too lazy to take good clear photos in daylight.By the time i get back from work its already night and therefore any picture I take will look so horribly different from what it actually is.
eg the swarovski bracelet i made. its mauve (light purple colour) yet someone commented it looks black and that the whole combination of colour i used is wrong. Trust me when i say, it's very very different in real life.
And also, it's just been a gloomy time in Melbourne. It's pouring and raining nonstop for I dont know what reason. And some people were complaining there's not enough rain....YEA RIGHT! I don't even see the sun anymore. Wake up gloomy sky, stay indoors whole day, go home gloomy sky and then it's night. Where's the sun??? Anymore and I think i might actually believe I'm a vampire.
Sigh....

Where's the rainbow in my life??
Hihi~
Just to let you know I've updated my sale blog. http://flowerpixiesaleblog.wordpress.com/ with some face masks for sale.
Thanks for your support! Love you guys!
Cheers,
FlowerPixie
Recently I acquired some face mask sheets by a korean brand called VOV. Apparently its quite the bestseller in korea.
I purchased 2 types, the Pumpkin and Green Tea masks.
Probably when I'm done with my stash I might bulk order summore. Anyone in Aus wants a future order with me?
lol
An eotd, finally!
I feel it's been such a long time since i last posted an eotd or any proper beauty update other than my ramblings.
But, I got inspired by a blog/vid by Holly Ann-AeReeand decided to try out one of it, with a few modifications of course.
So what did I use today?
1) Napolean autopilot face primer - which can also be used on the eyes, works well for me and very economical too. I mean you get 50ml for $48aud and you can use it just about everywhere
2) Bobbi brown eyeshadow in gold dust as a highlighter
3) earthen glow minerals eyeshadow in New Amethyst - crease
4) earthen glow minerals eyeshadow in Amazing - eyelid colour
5) Missha eyeshadow - forgot what its called but its a very dark brown colour with hints of red glitter - this was used in the outer V of eyelid and a small light dot in the inner corner and outer half of lower lashline
6) Kate gel eyeliner in black
7) Skinfood shimmer stick in gold for lower lashline
8) Kate dollish mascara
Quite a long list today no?
I used this for fun today morning and although i like it a lot, I do think it's a bit too dramatic for the day. It's probably better for night unless you use a much lighter colour. It's a good thing I've got those very sheer types of blushes for highlighting and a nude lipgloss to pair with this.
Ok, onwards to the pictures! Enjoy!
Cheers,
FlowerPixie
On a side note, someone said I look like an indian if i only show my eyes. Bollywood girl to be exact. Lol! I found that funny.
As mentioned before, a few weeks ago I bought some stuff from B&I during their 4th anniversary sale.
These were the items purchased.
UME BLOSSOM: This Spring floral is perfect to transition into Summer. Unlike cherry blossoms, Ume Flowers have a very sweet fragrance. This delightful and gorgeous fruity-floral fragrance combines sweet notes of Bartlett Pear, Apricot, White Peach, Plum Blossom, with fresh notes of Mimosa and Spring Air.
MILK AND HONEY: This smells just like a glass of warm milk sweetened with honey! Sweet, rich, and stronger than you would expect.
I've also got 3 body lotions, 2x 2oz and a 4oz one. The scents are Funeral (I bought this for fun but they're right! It's such a wonderful smell), Bubble tea (smells really really caramel sweet. Rather than bubble tea I think it's more like super sweet teh tarik), and cherry flowers (this is so sweet fragrant smell. Love it). Again the texture is just wonderful. My friend says there's this very weird base smell which she didn't like in her lotions but maybe my nose is just not good enough to pick it out. Lol!
BUBBLE TEA: All the rage in Taiwan! Although it's available in all sorts of fun and fruity flavors, ours is the original - simple and delicious! Fresh tea is flavored with lychee, coconut, fresh cream, and a touch of brown sugar and tapioca pearls. One of our most popular scents!
CHERRY FLOWERS: This is one of the most beautiful new fragrances to come out in quite some time. Our version features the fragrant blooms, sweet cherry aroma, and background of light musk. This might even be better than the original!
FUNERAL: One of our all-time best sellers. A heady blend of black roses, dirt, and grave moss. A dark, mysterious scent that keeps your deepest secrets. Don't let the name scare you away from this beautiful fragrance.
And what is the use of buying from B&I if you don't actually bathe in it? Hahaha, lame-nest. Anyway, I got a couple of tea infused body cleanser as well. They're seriousy really great. Not very foamy but decent enough, wonderful smell and doesn't leave the skin dry. What more can I ask for? I got four of them, 2x2oz and 2x4oz sizes in 4 different scents, fresh sake, big apple jazz, apricot & fig and lastly creed spring flowers. I have no idea which smells better. I like them all. Somehow they all fit into the diff moods that I have. You know the feeling, sometimes you feel like being more deep dark mysterious, or joyful colourful spirit etc.
It's such a shame to wash the cleanser away though. I'm kinda hoping the smell sticks to the skin (infussssed to my skiiiiin) everytime i shower. But I realize that if I don't want to end up smelling weird, my selection of body lotion after the shower has got to match with the cleanser. Lol! Probably a good idea to get the same scent for body cleanser and lotion, ya know?
FRESH
SAKE: (Fresh type) A true duplication
of Fresh's Sake perfume. Notes of langsat fruit, white peach, ginger,
lotus flower, lily of the valley, vanilla, and musk. We also have our own
version of Sake listed in the Cocktail Party section, which is closer to
the Sake Bath and Sake Body Oil made by Fresh too.
BIG APPLE JAZZ: The unexpected meeting of fresh-picked apples, lively mint, and lovely jasmine blooms produce this unusually wearable fragrance.
APRICOT & FIG (Fresh type): A rich fruity, floral that gives off the most luxurious - not to mention yummy - apricot, peach, and lychee scent ever. Anchoring notes like green tea and fig leaf balance out the fragrance's sweet top notes. This impeccable scent can by worn by men or women. Notes include Apricot Juice, Georgia Peach, Fig Leaf, Green Tea.
CREED SPRING
FLOWER: Delightfully pink
and pretty, Spring Flower is a playful and unapologetic celebration of
feminine energy and style that is true to the spirit of the woman who
inspired it. Master Perfumer Olivier Creed created Spring Flower as a
signature scent for the legendary icon of enduring chic, Audrey Hepburn.
Fragrance notes include Peach, Melon, Apple, Jasmine, Rose, Musk, and
Ambergris.
And of course I wouldn't miss the Honey dream hand cream (2oz) now would I? Got this in Pink Champagne. I haven't really used it yet because I'm waiting for my current one to finish. Smells great!
PINK CHAMPAGNE: We'd like to make a toast to our bubbly blend of champagne, pink grapefruit, and pink peony. Oh, did we mention the touch of vanilla? Glamorously yummy!
And I got these paddles for free. Haven't opened them because even through the plastic I can already almost smell most of them. Lol!
GARDEN ANGEL: This scent is dedicated to my mom who grew the most beautiful spring flowers. This angel tends to her garden of lilacs and lilies adding her sweetness of marshmallow and vanilla. (by sfcaruso)
RICE FLOWERS: You'll be enticed with this bouquet of sweet fruits, luscious flowers, and shea. This fragrance is well rounded with an intense, alluring base of soft musk and light creamy vanilla notes which offer lift and a pretty freshness.
COCONUT BEACH: Our special blend of coconuts has just the right amount of sweetness to bring the tropics right to you!
RALPH ROCKS (Ralph Lauren type): Rebellious, independent, and free spirited. Notes include passion fruit, kiwi, citrus, freesia, orange blossom, hyacinth, palm leaves, sun-bleached woods, coconut milk, sandalwood and amber.
CRANBERRY VANILLA
TART: A scrumptious blend of tart cranberries seduced by warm vanilla.
IN BLOOM: Fresh roses and
spicy carnations give our special blend a touch of romance with a hint of
mischief.
And so, that's it for my B&I haul! Come to think of it, I think it's one of my biggest haul ever. But I really love them. I wish there would be more sales! It's just not worth it for me to pay full price because of the shipping!
And so...Indulgent Diva is giving away a $20 voucher for SN! What a wonderful thing to happen just when I was eyeing some stuff at SN!
I know there's a few of you SN lovers in Vox so do checkout the giveaway as well!
